Vtg WWII 1943 Australian Sterling Florin Trench Art Sweetheart Coin Locket
A really nice Australian Florin Silver Coin that was turned into a Pendant during WWII and sent home to a sweetheart as a "sweetheart jewelry" This is called Trench Art the unreal quality for being made out in the battle grounds during a war.
This particular coin was minted in Australia not the United states do to no "S" mint mark on the reverse.
This Super Nice Locket has original plastic cover which can be removed and your “Sweetheart” picture can be inserted.
Unbelievable vintage pendant! Extremely attractive!
Approx. Size 1" across and .28” width and is heavy for its size.
The Original plastic top is removable and ready for your Sweethearts Picture. All Original! Not pictured is a small sterling jump ring for mounting on a heavy chain.
