Description
The South Africa 50 Rand banknote was released by the South African Reserve Bank in 2015. Its obverse depicts the countrys emblem and a picture of Nelson Mandela who was a former president of the country. The reverse of the note displays lions. The banknote that comes in maroon, olive green, and brown color combinations has dimensions of 140 x 70 mm. Its security features include a registration device in the form of a lion, holographic windowed security thread with the national emblem, SARB, and 50 RAND, and a watermark that shows Nelson Mandela and an electrotype 50. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition. It has also been authenticated by Banknote Worlds TAP (Trust. Authenticate. Protect.) specialists.
