This adapter has a thickness of mere 0.5mm and hence makes M42 lenses upto 53mm in diameter to be used on PL cameras.
Note if your M42 lens itself is past 53mm in diameter, this adapter will not work.
To retain strength at such small thickness, this adapter is made up of stainless steel.
Due to small quantity custom makes, there could be some cosmetic issues but that will not affect functionality.
