    Description

Old Prohibition Whiskey Prescription Stub Pharmacy Doctor Bar Minneapolis MN
    Welcome
    &
Thank You for Shopping In the USA!
A great original doctor's Prohibition Liquor Prescription stub for Whiskey...Pts ii (2 Pints)! This was kept by the doctor and open to inspection by Federal Officers! Please see photo!
From the days of Al Capone, flappers and moonshine, this was the only legal way to drink wine in the US!
The whiskey was prescribed for Chester Barry, by Dr. Donald H. McDaniel, of Minneapolis, MN, on July 20, 1933. It was issued by the Treasury Department and when held to the light, INDUSTRAL ALCOHOL is partially watermarked.
Printed in red ink is: "This stub must be clearly and legibly written, and must not be detached from the book".
The stub measures 4 1/2" by 3" and is in excellent condition!
This is a FANTASTIC piece of history and would be great to display in a pharmacy, museum, wine cellar, bar or office! I am happy to answer any questions you may have and thank you for your interest!
All items ship within 24 hours of payment!
