Using the Westerwald area's 200-year tradition of pottery,
GERZ beer steins have been handcrafted in Germany since 1862.

the symbol for high-quality beer steins, making GERZ one of the

In 1976, GERZ introduced GERZIT, an accomplishment destined
to have a profound effect on the stoneware industry. GERZIT
genuine stoneware is vitrified at a kiln temperature of more than
1100C (2000F) to guarantee a truly compact earthenware vessel.
