  • Condition: This saw is pre-owned and has seen some use. It is quite sharp & straight. The wood is good with possible tight crack & the blade is fairly clean & with some rust areas. All teeth seem to be there. Etching on side of the blade. It could use a good sharpening . Please see photos for more details.

    Description

    This is a  E.C. Simmons  " THE ORIGNAL TRUE BLUE" Adjustable & reversible back saw. I think it was made for them by George H. Bishop & Co. 14 in. blade & 19 1/2 in overall.  The wood is very good with a possible tight crack on the back, (SEE PHOTOS) . All teeth seem to be there. 12 tpi. on one side & the front edge & 9 tpi on the other. It could use a good cleaning  & sharpening. Some minor rust areas with 2 bad spots below & to the right of the logo. (See Photos), Still plenty of useable blade.  As found  & lightly oiled condition.  This saw would make someone a great user or collectable  FREE SHIPPING IN THE U.S.A. , AND TO THE LOCAL GLOBAL SHIPPING CENTER.
