This simple, perfectly-designed cover is something Canon should have included with your already expensive EF to RF drop in filter adapter. Instead, they want you to purchase a 9 clear filter to cover the hole when you don't want to use the ND or polarizer. Crazy!
This cover solves the issue. We carefully designed this to be as streamlined and effective as possible. Made of high-strength carbon fiber-reinforced polycarbonate, it just snaps into place over the opening. To remove, simply squeeze the grips together and it pops out.

Although some sources report that the clear filter is necessary because it is part of an optical formula, in our own extensive testing we found no difference between shooting with this cover and the official Canon clear filter. The photographs looked identical down to the pixels.
