For 35 years
this finely made reproduction has been on display as part of a
Civil War
Medicine exhibit.  As such, it has remained in a locked display
cabinet and
never used in any other manner.  It is pristine.
The case measures 10.6 inches by 8.2 inches
by 2.5 inches.
