CDV Photograph showing a young man identified as W.J White (William J. White). He is wearing a West Virginia University marked hat and a U.S Belt Plate. We found a William J. White as an officer from West Virginia during the Spanish American War. We may have found him working at the University Of West Virginia, in later years, but again, not positive it's the same person. More research needed here.
This came with another CDV Showing another identified student in Military Uniform. We found both of these men in a yearbook dated 1884 (this is how we made positive identification). They were listed as
Preparatory
