Fabulous, stylized period font for an authentic Art Deco signage of 2.5” thick mahogany with an aluminum veneer. MEDICINES. Letters are affixed to a black iron original bar which has holes for screws along the its length

wo letters have some separation on one side where the aluminum or stainless steel veneer which is slightly separating from the wood. Untouched. Can be glued together and clamped for 24 hrs id desired. For this reason, I am rating it not as Mint but Very Good. No surface scratches to the metal, no damage to the wood. No evidence of any repairs.
PROVENANCE
Purchased 20 years ago from the top floor penthouse Million condo at 1500 Ocean Drive/ Miami Beach. Pharmaceutical CEO was divorcing his wife who told the IRS he was hiding million cash in Lichtenstein. He jumped off the roof to his death leaving behind one 3 yr old daughter and lots of antiques, collections for the IRS to sell on the premises to recoup lost taxes. Sad but that’s the provenance.
