    Description

    For consideration is this Royal Bradwell Arthur Wood vintage golf series beer stein or mug depicting a golfer just after taking a swing, with another in the background, and on the reverse a caddy holding a golf bag and flag.  The handle is shaped as a figural golf bag. There is a flared footed bottom rim and a beaded molding just below the scenes. Both the bottom rim and inside rim have an orange paint or glaze. The mark on the bottom says "Sports Series" Royal Bradwell and Arthur Wood with England below.
    I am a member of Stein Collectors International as well as a member of the Chicago area chapter, The Meister Steiners. For anyone collecting German beer steins or interested in German steins, I would highly recommend joining SCI, as you will receive publications and can communicate with members from all over the world about steins.  There are also past publications online, where you can research steins through a number of scholarly articles.
