  • Condition: This offering is for an original CDV photograph of a young man in a standing pose. The sepia toned image shows the fellow holding a book or possibly a manuscript. The image measures app. 2 3/8" by 3 5/8" and appears to have been trimmed a bit. The sitter signed the back side in a very nice script identifying himself as J. Marcus of the University of Notre Dame March 4th 1870. The image has a pretty good photo contrast and fairly sharp focus.

    This offering is for an original CDV photograph of a young man in a standing pose. The sepia toned image shows the fellow holding a book or possibly a manuscript. The image measures app. 2 3/8" by 3 5/8" and appears to have been trimmed a bit. The sitter signed the back side in a very nice script identifying himself as J. Marcus of the University of Notre Dame March 4th 1870. The image has a pretty good photo contrast and fairly sharp focus.  The buyer will pay a fixed amount of $ 3.00 for Standard Mail and we will include delivery confirmation, tracking, at no additional cost.
