1985 Mercury Capri Recarro 1985 Mercury Capri ASC McLaren Convertible (one of only 186 built in 1985)

Mercury Capri. ASC McLaren convertible 1 of only 186 built in 1985. I have never seen another one at any of the car shows I attend.
I bought this car at the end of 2019, one of those must have moments.
Trouble was I spent so long waiting for it to be painted (original color) and seats redone (original color) that I kind of lost interest, so basically it sits in the garage taking up space.
And it really is to nice for that, it looks great, starts fine, drives great and stops, there  is no rust this has always been a Florida car and I am the third owner.

I sold the vehicle a few weeks ago to one of the  " I will send you more than I bid, if you pay the shipping and send the rest back to me"
So being barely more intelligent than the average rock, I canceled everything and reported it to the police and Ebay.
I kept the very poorly photocopied check as a reminder. that not everyone is as honest as you would hope.
The car is only a 2 seater, so not a family car, originally a 4 seater coupe they were sent to ASC McLaren to be converted, this involved cutting the roof of removing the rear seat, to make room for the roof to be stored inside when down. The roof is not powered, with two its easy to drop and raise, one person can do it, and I do at 77, but it takes a little longer.
The seats were originally powered, but a previous owner, cut all the cables and removed the motors, no idea why.
Where the back seat was, you now have 2 storage bins built in, not huge but handy to keep smaller things secure.
All the gauges work, all the lights work and the wipers work, air con works, a/c on convertible, why?  only thing on the dash that does not work is the two small lights that tell you when the turn signal is working, they do work and you can hear them, but no visual indication.
The radio/cd is a new one not the original, the speakers to this are on the floor behind the seats, but the original speakers are in a box in the garage, the radio might even be there too, but I haven't  looked.

Does the vehicle have a warranty.?
NO it's sold as seen, there is  no warranty given or implied either verbally or written
Will you deliver it?
NO, You have to arrange and pay for shipping, but I will work with your shipper
Can I drive it home to California?
Maybe, Car is 36 years old, maybe get it checked out first.
Do I have to wait for check to clear before I can collect car?
Yes, full purchase price must be in my hands before it leaves here.
I am also open to P/X , or Trades let me know what you have.
